HELIDECK ASSISTANT (HDA) certification is achieved by completing two pre-requisite courses - HOIT and HERTM
To achieve HDA certification, please enrol and complete the following courses;
- HELIDECK OPERATIONS INITIAL TRAINING (HOIT) and
- HELIDECK EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM MEMBER (HERTM)
When both courses are completed, you will be issued a HELIDECK ASSISTANT (HDA) certificate.
*Note: When clients have a requirement for multiple HLO/HDA accreditations, in a manner that would better suit the logistical constraints of those working in the aviation industry and at the same time reduce the costs associated with organising offshore training courses, the Flight Safety Group can provide an on-site Trainer to conduct the hands on, demonstrative education of Heli Refuelling, Helideck Firefighting and HLO/HDA practical course components, onboard the duty holder’s vessel/rig – utilising their own equipment and familiarity of own helicopter types. This alternative method reduces costs and time away from site for personnel.
